The Repairs & Rewaxing service dates back to 1921; it appears in advertising catalogues from the time and continues to this day.

Over time and with use, your garment may show signs of wear. Instead of parting with it, choose to repair it: extending the life of your garment is the most effective way to reduce its environmental impact.

We offer our customers a special rewaxing, repair, and alteration service for jackets. We recommend renewing the wax annually, depending on wear, on jackets and accessories—such as hoods, hats, and waxed-cotton dog coats—to extend the product’s life.

If you choose to rely on us, each garment is assessed by our repairs team and placed into one of the following categories:

• REPAIRABLE, UNDER WARRANTY* – If the garment is repairable and covered by warranty, it will be repaired at WP Lavori in Corso’s expense and returned to the customer.
• NOT REPAIRABLE, UNDER WARRANTY* – If the product is not repairable but is covered by warranty, a member of our team will contact you to discuss the available options.
• PAID REPAIR, OUT OF WARRANTY – If the garment is repairable but not covered by warranty, you can use the repair service at your own expense. After submitting the repair request, you will be contacted by a member of our Customer Care Team.

* The warranty is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase.
